Hey there, Big Q here with this week’s Big Q Cassette Classic.
This week it comes from a Chicago based band you might not have heard about. They’re call The Insiders. They had one hit that peaked at #8 back in 1987. It was called “Ghost on the Beach” from the album of the same name.
If you were old enough to drive, you were paying a whopping .89 a gallon for gas and paying your bills with a stamp that cost .24 cents.
I was working for Godfathers pizza in Fargo, and when I was tapped to deliver a pizza I was always thankful to hear “Ghost on the Beach” to help offset all the overplayed Madonna & U2 songs on the radio. It took a few days, but I was able to capture the Ghost and save to my Cassette Classic.
